Today we celebrate a very special birthday... The 10th birthday of my very first litter; litter A from Téole x Stitch!! So happy most of these precious babies are still alive and kicking. Even both mom and dad are still doing well at age 14, and if I had to start over, I'd choose this combination again right away. Our girl Geisha, my pick of the litter, gave us great offspring and we still enjoy her every single day. I hope she and her siblings will have many more happy healthy years ahead.

Our thoughts go out to Kenzo and Kadisha, the two sweet beauties that unfortunately aren't alive anymore. Hope they play together over the rainbow bridge.

Today is also the 2nd birthday of our litter J!! Congrats to all stunners out of Lady x Spike!

Our bred-by and co-owned girl CH Blue Rising Star Flirting With Fire, gave birth to her second litter!! Father is CH WR Eye Of The Tiger Coca. This is a repeat breeding from last year.
There are 3 girls and 5 boys in fawn, red and brindle. Unfortunately 1 brindle boy didn't make it, but mom and all other babies are doing well!

This beautiful litter was born on December 13 and is co-bred with Sarah van der Spek. This pedigree brings together some amazing dogs with a very unique pedigree for the United States (which is essential in maintaining genetic diversity). Diego is close to our ideal AmStaff, he is linebred on BISS CH White Rock's Perry The Fridge (one of the all time greats) and exhibits that old school White Rock type (beautifully arched neck, athletic build) that I have loved from the time I started in the breed in the late 90s. Pepper, like Diego, also has a beautiful pedigree. Her temperament is rock solid, the epitome of what an AmStaff should be, and she is a natural showdog, never putting a foot out of place. We currently have 2 males and 1 female available from this breeding. Our bred-by and co-owned girl Blue Rising Star Indian Summer "Summer" will be bred to the wonderful male CH Lobotown Tatonka. This will be a linebreeding to CH Rowdytown's Hardrock Cafe, CH White Rock Rowdy Angel and CH Joe's Creek Apricot. We expect gorgeous and healthy, Ataxia clear puppies with nice temperaments. If everything goes as planned, Summer will turn in heat around December and puppies will be born around March, in Sweden.

Our bred-by and co-owned male CH Blue Rising Star Immortal Fantasy did well again at the show in Ludwigshafen, Germany!! :) He was placed 2nd with an Excellent result and RCAC under judge Mr. W. Detels (DE). The reserve point changed into a full point because number 1 already was VDH champion, so now only one more point towards the VDH title!!

Vandaag heeft ons reutje Glowing Rising Star Of GM "Boy" voor het eerst meegedaan aan een show. Dit was de fun show op de kenneldag van zijn fokkers. Keurmeester was Mr. F. Diaz van Chasqui kennel. We konden zelf wegens verbouwing helaas niet aanwezig zijn, maar co-owner Joyce heeft Boy super uitgebracht en hij werd in de puppyklasse (o tot 1 jaar) 2e van de 4 met een Veel Belovend resultaat!! Bedankt en ook proficiat aan jullie, Joyce en George!

Op het Working Dogs Holland Clash Of The Titans event te Udenhout, heeft het door ons gefokte teefje Blue Rising Star Lady Marmalade "Riva" voor het eerst meegedaan met het onderdeel farjump. Zij is vandaag precies een jaar oud en heeft een afstand van 2.20m gesprongen!! Wij zijn trots op dit dametje, en op haar baasjes Frouke en Nick! Gefeliciteerd!!

Beide dames hebben het super goed gedaan en zagen er TOP uit! Het was super om hen maar ook Chinook en King en al hun baasjes weer even gezien te hebben. Jammer dat ik niet langer de tijd had om te kroelen en kletsen, maar dat komt volgende keer zeker weer goed!

Naast show was er ook een racebaan waar de BRS kanjers een super tijd hebben neergezet!!

Tijdens de Heeresveld Coursing in Nieuwe Pekela hebben een aantal van onze kanjers, ondanks de regen, een mooi parcours gelopen!

Hot Rising Star Of Timeless Pride "Muttley" heeft met 154 punten zelfs een prachtige 3e plaats weten te behalen in de niet windhonden klasse tot 50cm!!
Kort daarop volgden Blue Rising Star Jingle Bells "Jingles" met 151 punten en Power Brother's JR SkyBlue Ruffian "G-Force" met 147 punten.
Blue Rising Star Freedom Forever "Hoopa" en SkyBlue's Flaming Rising Star "Juniper" hebben een half parcours gelopen.

Het parcours was vandaag 500m.

Wat een geweldige dag hebben we gehad!! Op de renbaan in Oude Pekela werd de Dag Van De Hond gevierd. Een dag vol met demo's, workshops en ook een aantal wedstrijden.

Alle Blue Rising Star kanjers die aanwezig waren, hebben het SUPER gedaan tijdens de coursing wedstrijd, ondanks dat het voor hen allemaal de eerste keer was vandaag!
Coursing is de meest authentieke vorm van windhondenrennen waarbij de honden, soms per paar, een achtervolging inzetten. Met behulp van klossen wordt een zigzag parcours uitgezet en met een elektromotor wordt de sleephaas vanaf de start naar het eind van het parcours getrokken. De prooi krijgt een ruime voorsprong. De honden worden beoordeeld door 3 keurmeesters, op snelheid/jachtdrift, intelligentie en wendbaarheid/conditie.

Vandaag op het Terrier Event hebben Blue Rising Star Lady Marmalade "Riva" (close to 10mnths) en Blue Rising Star Jolly Holly Day "Noa" (close to 16mnths) leuk mee gedaan met de sport onderdelen. Hiervan een kleine impressie.

Blue Rising Star Jubilee Christmas "Sita" heeft vandaag het gehoorzaamheid A examen met vlag en wimpel gehaald!! Ze heeft een prachtige cijferlijst, om trots op te zijn! En dit is alweer haar 3e diploma. Super!!

Gefeliciteerd aan de baasjes Christel en Dennis, en ga zo door met Sita (en Mojo natuurlijk)! Top!!

A daughter from our boy Hinto's most recent litter, Arwen Vom Hause Manhartsberg, also did very well!! She didn't only win baby class out of 3 gorgeous baby females, but also competed against best baby male and won Best Baby of breed!! This was her very first time at the show and she was breeder/owner handled by Alex Mertens. Big congrats!! Also huge thanks for appreciation to Mrs. B. Häussler.

Great show weekend for two of Hinto's kids from two different mothers. We are PROUD! :)

Our bred-by girl Blue Rising Star Lady Marmalade "Riva" competed at her first show today. It was the fun show at the Working Dogs Holland event.
Riva was judged in the 3-12 months class, by breed expert judge Mrs. E. Doss Reis (P'Pit kennel, France). Riva got a 2nd place with Very Good result!

Congrats to her owners, Frouke and Nick. Well done!!

Blue Rising Star Kind Of Magic "Kiara" passed her 2nd obedience exam today!!

He was in puppy class and got a 3rd place with a promising result!

Helaas hebben we vandaag het verschrikkelijke nieuws gekregen dat Blue Rising Star Coffee N Cream "Micah" afgelopen nacht bij een woningbrand om het leven is gekomen. Micah woonde samen met zijn nestzus Roxy. Zij is gelukkig gered maar zij zal haar grote broer vanaf nu moeten gaan missen. Onbegrijpelijk, zo oneerlijk!!

Very good news from France today!! Our bred-by and co-owned boy, CH Blue Rising Star Immortal Fantasy, got the results HD A and ED 0/0!

Glowing Rising Star Of GM "Boy"

This handsome baby has lots of potential. Not only is he nicely balanced with a gorgeous strong headpiece, but he has an outstanding, heavy White Rock influenced pedigree as well.
We think he can mean a lot for our breeding program in the future and we can't wait to see him mature.

Boy will be loved and co-owned by Joyce and George. Thank you!!

We're happy to announce that we can add a new stunning male to our breeding program!! Proud to present Achak Vom Hause Manhartsberg "Ztitch" out of the breeding from our boy Hinto x Emely. Ztitch's breeders asked me to get this lovely boy to my kennel, but since we already have 8 dogs in our home (including a puppy girl that still asks a lot of attention), I had to find somebody that was interested in cooperating with me... After some weeks, our Swedish partner and good friend in the breed told me she was looking for a new male for her kennel, so there was my light bulb moment! Since this male is also completely in her lines, it didn't take long for her to say yes. :)

We'd like to thank Amanda Olsson-Cedervall for arranging a great home for Ztitch, and Alex and Daniela for trusting us with this nice boy.

Our litter H already two years old today!! Congrats!

Some new health test results for two of our stunners!!

They already were Ataxia Clear by parentage.
Now waiting for official HD and ED results. Fingers crossed!
