Here's Muttley! He's our gorgeous keeper from the Aska x Sensai litter, another special combination for our kennel when you look at the pedigree. Aska is a full littermate to Andy (Chinook's mother) and these girls are both daughters of our foundation bitch Téole x CH Yukon's Diamond in the Ruff "Sonic". Sensai is a son of our other foundation bitch Diega, who is a Sonic daughter as well, so it all comes together again!

Muttley was born together with two brothers and one sister and he was the most compact boy of the litter. He has good length of leg, back and muzzle though, which let him appear gracious and athletic. Besides that he's got nice straight front legs with compact catfeet, a strong neck and beautiful head with correct expression. His character is very energetic and enthusiastic, open, friendly and playful. He is an easy learner so he finished his puppycours in no time. Although he is not a typical show type and he doesn't compete a lot, he got his first CAC in Germany with ease.

His character is very energetic, enthusiastic, open, friendly and playful. He's an easy learner and finished his puppy course in no-time. He loves to do canicross and is fast like a fox, together with Sandra! In 2016 he started coursing and racetrack, which is also really his kind of thing! He gives the full 100% and is a true worker with lots of drive. He already passed the Dutch Temperament Test in 2014 with great results and his health results are super as well.

We were lucky to get Muttley's first offspring in the summer of 2015. From this combination (Muttley x Hoopa) we've picked a wonderful female for the future. This is Bisou and you can find her on our females page. She participated in just a few shows but got wonderful results and comments each time. Besided Bisou there is another female from this combo, Riva, who is more active in sports with great results. Since we only had 4 puppies in Hoopa's litter, and we want to get a good male for the future in the same line now, we've decided to use Muttley a second time in our breeding program. This time with Hoopa's half sister Raven. The litter is born in February 2017. The puppies are still very young but we expect them to do well in show and sports as well. Our pick female will go to a co-owner in Finland, but of course she will also get her own page on our Females section on the website as well. Our pick male will probably stay close so we can show him ourselves. Another male will be going to a Finnish breeder so we hope for many good results for them as well.

I would like to thank Muttley's co-owners, our dear friends Sandra and Arjen who also own Muttley's auntie "Noah". Thanks for taking such good care of these two babies and also co-operate with us in such a pleasant way. I want to thank Aurélie and Yoann as well. Making this combination a reality was a dream coming true!

**Muttley is available as stud for approved females.**

Muttley

When I saw this picture below, I said to the breeder: Hey, it's Punky!! His nickname was born. :) We didn't know at that time that he would be the one coming to our kennel yet, but we all kept calling him Punky because of his cute little mohawk. When I choose him at 6 weeks, I asked the co-owners how they wanted to call him. First they said, let's just keep it at Punky!

I thought they should give him a new name that they thought of themselves, and then Arjen came up with Muttley. Muttley (Kenken in Japanese) is a Hanna-Barbera animated fictional character, created by Iwao Takamoto and originally voiced by Don Messick. Muttley first appeared in Wacky Races in 1968, as the sidekick of the accident-prone villain Dick Dastardly. While Dick was created as the equivalent of Professor Fate from the 1960's movie The Great Race, Muttley mirrored the film's character of Max Meen. Dick and Muttley were paired together in various later Hanna-Barbera series as bumbling villains. Muttley is a mixed breed dog, identified in the Wacky Races segment "Dash to Delaware" as a mix of Bloodhound, Pointer, and hunting dog. Muttley (who turned from a "bluish hue" to a "dusty brown") wore only a collar in Wacky Races, but in Dastardly and Muttley in Their Flying Machines he donned a World War I style aviator's cap and scarf, and served as a flying ace along with Dastardly and two other pilots as members of the "Vulture Squadron". In this spinoff, he also sported many medals and constantly demanded new ones from Dastardly for following his commands. "Muttley wants a medal!"

Hot Rising Star

This pedigree name speaks more or less correct... Since our kennel name is Blue Rising Star and all pedigree names in France should start with an H in 2012, I have Blue replaced by Hot. The expression Hot Rising Star is more often used in show business in emerging, growing artists.
